c's dreams ft pictures

i was in the library a few days ago, in the travel section. that’s when i started talking to sam and she had this great idea to post about her future travel adventures. if you’ve read hers so far, you know that they’re really cool and beautiful and fun and exciting. just like her, right? so advance warning, i am not really any of those things, so don’t get your hopes up. these are very caressa-y. because they came from a list of things i like//i think are an integral part of me, ie astronomy, pride and prejudice, moose, mountains, books, daffodils. but also some of them have nothing to do with that and i think are just cool. also these aren't in any particular order because i didn't bother to organize them in any way.

  1. natural bridges national monument - utah
so apparently this is one of the world’s best places to see the stars. my family went on this spontaneous hiking trip here last summer on our nationwide adventure, but i couldn’t convince my mom to let us stay until dark. see what i missed out on???

  1. tiger kingdom - chiang mai, thailand
feed and play with baby tigers. how could i not. i didn't get a picture because all the ones i saw were too weird.

  1. chatsworth house - derbyshire, england.
renee will get me here. PRIDE AND PREJUDICE HOLY GRAIL. this is where dreams were made. this place is unreal.

  1. stourhead garden - wiltshire, england

another p&p dream site. except, the one where darcy’s dream is crushed and drowned. but such a great monument.

where this happens

and also this
yikes

  1. stanage edge - derbyshire, england (last one one i swear)

ICONIC AF. this scene kiiiiilllss me.

  1. daffodil field - Tower Hill Botanic Garden, Boylston, MA
daffodils bring me so much joy. ever since i was like 7 and someone gave me a blue vase full of them. can’t get enough of em.

  1. Sea of Stars on Vaadhoo Island in the Maldives
i first learned about the glowing plankton things on tumblr, but then i went to see Life of Pi in theaters and the whale scene cemented my need to see this in person.

i mean obviously there’s no chance of me seeing thaaat. so i'll settle for this

  1. Nevis Swing - queenstown, new zealand
biggest swing in the world overlooking beautiful new zeals. nbd.

9. lantern festival - chiang mai, thailand
if you haven't thought about this and wanted to do it you're lyin straight up

10. northern lights - norway, iceland, greenland, finland, and alaska
i couldn't just pick one place. it was too hard.
